Traditional Rongoa Maori
Te Kopere Rongoa Maori Classes, will be held once every 6 to 8 weeks, they are of a 2 week duration, Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 2.30pm each day, with weekends off.

Traditional
Rongoa Maori classes include Tikanga (tribal customs),
karakia (prayer), romiromi, mirimiri, nga rongoa, honohono,
hikoi moemoea (guided meditation), waiata (song) and
mahi matekite (spiritual insight). A certificate is awarded
on completion of the course. Refresher courses are available
throughout the year.
Intensive
wananga of several consecutive days are held at Raehina
Rise for those who live outside the region. Wananga and
workshops are also taken out to marae, festivals, schools
and community based organizations –locally, throughout
the country and overseas.
